Giving the Basics

The Kao Family Foundation has provided a grant to Giving the Basics in support of their program to provide the necessities of life not covered by government assistance programs that most people take for granted.  They provide laundry soap, shampoo, deodorant, toilet paper and other personal care hygiene products.  As Kansas City’s hygiene hub, Giving the Basics assures that adults and children in the metro area have access to what they need to be clean and live with hope, health and dignity.
