Scleroderma Research Foundation

Since 2015, the Kao Family Foundation has funded multiple research projects on an annual basis with the goal of funding the highest quality research programs, finding effective treatments and, ultimately, a cure for scleroderma. 

To date, these projects have been led by 15 scientists from such distinguished institutions as Johns Hopkins University, Yale University, University of California San Francisco and Stanford. This esteemed group also includes multiple Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigators.
